Our Story
Meet the Founder
Hakim Rashad
Founder, 360 SMART Learning360 SMART Learning was founded by Hakim Rashad, an experienced math educator who has spent more than 11 years helping students develop stronger skills, deeper understanding, and greater confidence in mathematics.
Throughout his career, Hakim has served as a lead math teacher, middle school math lead, director of middle school math intervention, teacher-development coach, tutor, and math education consultant. His experience includes designing targeted interventions, leading math instruction across upper-elementary and middle grades, supporting fellow educators, and helping students make sense of mathematics that once felt intimidating.
Hakim created 360 SMART Learning because he believes students need more than additional worksheets or homework help. They need instruction that identifies where understanding breaks down, rebuilds the necessary foundation, and gives them opportunities to experience genuine success.
Through the Math Mastery Method—Assess, Teach, Practice, and Prove—Hakim helps students strengthen both mathematical ability and the confidence to use it.
